AdSense Optimisation

Browse through the internet and you would discover there are a huge number of ways you can use to monetise your website. From Pay-per-Click programs, to affiliate programs, to referral programs, to advertising, even donations.. you would have difficulties to choose one (or five) that is suitable for you.

Of all the Pay-per-Click programs, AdSense is probably the easiest way to monetise a website. Some blogging softwares (such as Blogspot and Wordpress) are even AdSense-ready i.e. they have widgets which you can use to place AdSense advertisements on your blog.

So.. you have decided to use AdSense. The question now is how to get the most from the ads you display on your site.

1. Traffic

It's all about traffic, traffic and traffic. The more people visit your site, the higher are the chances they will click on your ads. So promote your site in whatever way you can think of. Social websites such as Twitters, Facebook and MySpace are excellent promotional tools. AdWords is also a good option but that involves some initial monetory investments from you. So you might want to think more on that.

2. Ad Placement

In general, the more visible the ad, the higher is the click rate. So putting a leaderboard banner on top of your site is really a good strategy. You can also put an ad in the middle of your content. While potentially it can perform well, it can also be annoying to your readers. The fact is, ad placement is pretty subjective and the way the ads behave is different for each site.

3. Ad Size

It's common sense that your ads should fit the layout of your site. Choosing ads that push your content out of the screen edge is really a bad move. You might also want to mix and match ads of different sizes and place them strategically on your site.

4. Ad Colours

You may think that choosing ad colours that contrast your site is better since it attracts people's attention. While this is not entirely wrong (remember, the behaviour of ads is different for each site), it is actually better to have ad colours that blend with your site. But this is also a subjective matter. You may want to experiment with different colours and see how it affects your click rate. You may also want to remove the borders from your ads since, in general, borderless ads perform better than ads with borders.

For advice or support on AdSense optimisation, you may want to join the Official AdSense Google Group or visit the AdSense Support pages (an account is needed). There are also a number of forums out there which you can Google and join.

Saya tidak akan menerangkan apa itu proxy dan fungsinya untuk apa, silahkan mencari sendiri di google untuk pertanyaan seperti itu.

Tutorial ini memanfaatkan login DEMO CPANEL yang diberikan oleh beberapa hosting dengan akses ke SSH port 22 untuk dijadikan Elite Proxy Socks 5 atau biasa disebut SSH Tunneling. berikut daftar DEMO CPANEL-nya :

Ada juga yang memang memberikan akses secara gratis agar servernya bisa dijadikan SSH Tunnel seperti :

sekarang proses tunneling untuk Window$

  1. Download program PuTTY dan simpan pada directory C:/windows ( untuk mempermudah eksekusi nantinya )
  2. Sekarang tekan start > run
  3. “putty -D 10 -N -C -pw acpanel demoacp@demo.acpanelhost.co.uk” ketik ini pada window Run tanpa tanda kutip
  4. Option -D dapat diganti sesuka anda, Option ini adalah local port yang kita gunakan untuk mengakses Tunnel server

    5. run BOX











  5. Untuk server cepat.abangadek.com tambahkan option -P 222 karena server tersebut tidak menggunakan port standart SSH (22)
  6. Setting dibrowser Firefox klik tools > option > Advance > Network Tab: ( selain itu silahkan dicari sendiri :P )

trik & langkah merubah flasdisk

Banyak cara agar flashdisk mudah dikenali, salah satunya dengan :
1.menempeli sticker
2.menulis mengunakan spidol.
3.memberikan gantungan ato mengunakan tali.
4.mengunakan aksesoris.
dengan cara semua di atas saya rasa cara ini kurang elegan dan menarik.


Nah, saya punya trik sederhana dan menarik agar flashdisk mudah dikenali. Ini dia caranya :


1. Siapkan file gambar icon dan ubah nama file icon tsb menjadi iconlucu.ico
2. Buat file text dengan menggunakan notepad dan ketik :


[autorun]
icon = .\iconlucu.ico
label=Nama Anda (handphone 0812 xxx-xxxx)

3. Simpan file dengan nama autorun.inf
4. Copy file autorun.inf tersebut beserta file gambar icon tadi ke flashdisk Anda.
5. Cabut Flashdisk dari komputer (Ingat! flashdisk harus dicabut sesuai prosedur pencabutan agar flashdisk tidak rusak)

6. Colokkan kembali flashdisk anda ke komputer dan lihat hasilnya.

alternatif lainya adalah sebagai berikut :

1. memasukan flasdisk yg akan di rubah

2. lakukan klick kanan

3. pilih rename (terserah nama apa yg akan km berikan)

4. silahkan lihat hasil nya kembali.

NTLDR is Missing File

Anda para penggemar windows, mungkin pernah mengalami dimana ketika komputer anda dinyalakan malah muncul tulisan NTLDR missing. Padahal anda ngga ngerasa berbuat apa-apa yang bisa bikin komputer anda bertingkah aneh seperti itu.

Dulu yang saya lakukan hanyalah install ulang. Karena komputer dengan NTLDR missing biasanya ketika kita coba masukan CD installer windows pilihan untuk memperbaiki windows gak ada.

Tapi setelah bosan dengan install ulang beberapa kali yang tentu saja kalau windows nya di install ulang, banyak aplikasi yang juga harus di install ulang (ces bilang cape deeeee).

Ok ini beberapa trik untuk mengatasi masalah NTLDR Missing di windows 2000 / XP.
WINDOWS 2000.

Untuk Win2k pekerjaan nya agak ribet karena anda harus boot dari disket, tapi gimana lagi sementara yang saya tahu cuman ini caranya :).

* Bikin satu bootable disket (tau kan caranya?)
* Bikin file boot.ini dengan text editor kesayangan anda isi nya kira-kira seperti ini.

* Copy NTLDR dan NTDETECT.COM dari computer yang lain (Win2k yang gak ada masalah tentunya). Biasanya file-file ini dalam keadaan hiden jadi untuk melihat dan kemudian mengcopy nya anda perlu merubah option view.
* Boot dengan disket tersebut
* Copy file NTLDR dan NTDETECT.COM ke drive C komputer yang tidak boot.

* Keluarkan floppy drive dan reboot.
* Berdo’a mudah-mudahan gak error lagi
* Selesai

WINDOWS XP
Mengatasi masalah NTLDR Missing di windows XP sedikit lebih mudah karena Win XP memiliki opsi repair dalam bootable installer CD nya jadi gak perlu bikin-bikin boot disket. Yang harus anda lakukan adalah

* Set bios komputer anda supaya first boot nya adalah CD drive.
* Masukan CD Installer Windows XP anda, Kemana??? tentu saja ke CDROM/DVDROM Drive bukan ke tempat yang lain.
* Boot komputer anda
* Ketika pilihan press anykey to boot from CD silahkan pijit tombol apa saja, tapi ingat tombol yang ada di keyboard ya bukan tombol kamera digital anda apalagi tombol HP.
* Setelah masuk ke setup menu, nanti ada pilihan untuk tekan R untuk repair, anda tekan huruf R di keyboard anda untuk masuk ke Repair command line.
* Ketika masuk tunggu sebentar jangan langsung enter kecuali kalau anda ingin reboot :P
* Apabila ditanyakan system mana yang mau anda perbaiki biasanya ada pilihan nomor 1 C:\Windows seperti itu pilih 1 dan enter.
* Nanti anda akan ditanyakan password Administrator komputer anda silahkan di isi dan enter
* Setelah berhasil login silahkan copy NTLDR dan NTDETECT.COM dari CD installer anda. Sebelumnya pastikan dulu apa nama drive CD/DVD anda. Saya contohkan disini bernama E:

1. copy e:\i386\ntldr c:\
2. copy e:\i386\ntdetect.com c:\

copy e:\i386\ntldr c:\ copy e:\i386\ntdetect.com c:\

* Apabila sudah selesai silahkan keluar dari editor dan restart komputer anda
* Jangan lupa untuk set boot order anda menjadi Harddisk pertama.
* Selesai.

Mudah-mudahan dengan tutorial ini anda bisa semakin tidak sering memformat komputer anda setiap kali ada masalah.
